Job summary

Banc of California is seeking an experienced credit professional to deliver financial, credit, and trend analyses for middle-market clients and prospects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; 5+ years lending or portfolio management experience.
• Strong knowledge of real estate lending, construction and bridge preferred.
• Commercial lending fundamentals including cash flow analysis and loan structuring.
• Proficiency with bank credit policies, risk management standards, and collateral perfection.
• Ability to interpret complex loan documentation and produce concise analyses.
• Excellent written and oral communication and analytical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary credit point of contact for Borrowers and maintain ongoing relationship engagement.
• Review loan agreements, guarantees, and other credit documentation.
• Review, approve, and process loan advance requests with Loan Servicing.
• Review and approve monthly loan statements and related reporting.
• Monitor project loan performance and analyze financial trends.
• Prepare quarterly risk reviews and portfolio assessments.
• Evaluate borrower requests and draft summary credit memoranda with recommended actions.
• Provide guidance and oversight through performance evaluations and coaching.
