Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to drive growth and market positioning from a remote capacity. You will lead commercial strategy initiatives, analyze opportunities, and guide high-impact bid pursuits, influencing client relationships and revenue growth.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, and technical teams to identify strategic opportunities and shape Parexel's competitive stance.

Qualifications

• Extensive CRO industry experience with senior sales/ops background.
• Proven capability to craft commercial messaging, RFIs, RFPs, and bid content.
• Experience leading global cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with commercial tools and data-driven strategy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid triage discussions to assess fit and prioritize opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify high-value opportunities.
• Provide guidance to bid teams on RFI/RFPs and messaging to differentiate Parexel.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations to define client requirements.
• Prepare bid teams for client presentations with strategic positioning.
• Share lessons learned from wins/losses to improve commercial outcomes.
• Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and emerging tech affecting strategy.
• Participate in bid pursuits and client engagements to strengthen relationships.
• Represent Parexel at industry conferences to boost visibility.
• Lead internal initiatives to improve bid hit rate and effectiveness.
• Collaborate on analysis of wins/losses for commercial insights.
• Develop training materials on commercial strategy and bid best practices.
