Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to drive new business growth and strategic market positioning. This remote role involves leading commercial strategy initiatives, analyzing opportunities, and guiding high-impact bid pursuits across sales, operations, and technical functions.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape Parexel's competitive positioning, enhance client relationships, and accelerate revenue growth, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• 15+ years in CRO/biopharma with client management and senior sales/ops
• Experience developing commercial messaging and bid content
• Proven leadership of global cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with commercial tools including MS Office, Salesforce, and proposal automation
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy, data-driven methods, and industry knowledge

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid triage to evaluate opportunities and align with corporate objectives
• Perform market and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities
• Coach bid teams on RFIs/RFPs to ensure competitive messaging
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operational teams to shape client requirements and opportunities
• Prepare bid teams for client interactions and strategic positioning
• Extract lessons from wins/losses to improve pursuit effectiveness
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting strategy
• Represent Parexel at conferences and client engagements to enhance visibility
• Lead internal initiatives to improve hit rate and pursuit outcomes
• Work with sales operations on analytics of wins/losses to drive insights
• Contribute to training materials on commercial strategy and bid best practices
