Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to join our team in a remote capacity. You will drive new business growth and strategic market positioning, leading commercial strategy initiatives and guiding high-impact bid pursuits across sales, operations, and technical functions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, shape competitive messaging, and accelerate revenue growth while representing Parexel at industry events and client engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of CRO industry experience and client management background
• Proven ability to develop commercial messaging and bid content
• Experience leading global cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy and data-driven methods
• Knowledge of CRO industry and biopharma market
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP basics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid triage discussions to evaluate opportunities and align with corporate objectives
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify high-value opportunities
• Provide coaching on RFIs/RFPs and craft compelling sales messaging
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations teams to shape client requirements
• Prepare bid teams for client presentations with strategic positioning
• Extract and disseminate lessons learned to improve pursuit outcomes
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting strategy
• Participate in bid pursuits and client engagements to strengthen relationships
• Represent Parexel at industry conferences to enhance visibility
• Lead internal initiatives to improve commercial hit rate
• Collaborate on wins/loss analyses and dissemination of insights
• Develop training materials on commercial strategy and bid practices
