Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. The role emphasizes standardizing workflows, driving efficiency, and supporting M&A integration while acting as a strategic advisor to producers, account teams, and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation preferred, and 5–7+ years of operational leadership in a large insurance brokerage or agency.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide SME guidance on agency operations, workflows, and EPIC usage.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Engage with producers and operations to drive successful implementation.
