Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national initiatives in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. This role partners with senior leadership to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and support growth across the brokerage.

Ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines operational leadership, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute initiatives strengthening Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity and reducing variation.
• Evaluate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to develop plans supporting growth and excellence.
• Support M&A integration initiatives through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
