Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to expand the top line by cultivating and maintaining client relationships across a wide range of industries. You will identify opportunities for marketing our programs and ensure sales goals and profitability are met.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in relationship-building within claims or risk management, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred.
• Ten (10) years of relationship-building in the claims management or risk management field.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain internal and external relationships/partnerships.
• Build relationships with prospects and key clients.
• Lead development of proposals, pricing for RFPs, and presentations.
• Develop annual sales and service plans targeting potential client needs and company capabilities.
