Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd seeks a Business Development Director to expand the company’s top line by building and maintaining client relationships across a defined area, driving opportunities for marketing programs, and ensuring sales goals are met.

The role requires strategic insight, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to manage complex partnerships in a dynamic environment. Travel will be required to engage clients and close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business, finance or risk management preferred.
• CPCU and/or ARM designation in progress or completed.
• Ten years of related experience, including five years in relationship building in the claims or risk management area.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.
• Develops detailed knowledge of prospect operations and targets specific needs for marketing company programs.
• Utilizes resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals and presentations.
• Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan and meets sales goals of $2-3 million.
• Travels as required and supports the organization's quality programs.
