Job summary

BKF is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for the Planning and Government Solutions Division. The role will lead the BD strategy, growth initiatives, and client engagement across the Western Region, with travel across California, Oregon, and Washington.

The candidate will build and mentor a high-performing BD team, align with senior leadership, and drive cross-functional partnerships to win major government, transportation, water, and land development projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of BD, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within A/E/C or infrastructure services.
• Western U.S. markets experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Proven leadership in client relationship management, strategic planning, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive business development program and establish strategies to achieve annual financial goals for the Division.
• Develop and execute BD strategies for Planning and Government Solutions to expand market share and profitability.
• Build and mentor the Division's BD team, including Regional Directors and Managers.
• Maintain an updated pipeline and ensure CRM usage for planning and budgeting across the region.
• Represent BKF at industry events and client meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
