Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Vice President, Legal - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions involving data centers and digital infrastructure assets.

You will structure and negotiate transaction documents, oversee due diligence, advise executive leadership, and coordinate with outside counsel and stakeholders. Hybrid work with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission required for legal practice and leadership.
• 5+ years of legal experience in M&A/corporate transactions; major firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase, merger, JV, and ancillary documents.
• Lead due diligence and manage transaction risk assessments.
• Advise executive leadership on structure, diligence outcomes, valuations, and protections.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders through closing.
• Negotiate major tenant leases and telecom licenses as needed.
