Job summary

LPL Financial LLC seeks a Vice President of AI Governance to own the firm-wide AI governance strategy and provide credible challenge across the AI lifecycle. You will set risk-based standards, oversee architecture and data risks, and report to executives and Audit.

You will lead governance forums and coordinate across Legal, Compliance, IT and Risk teams. The role requires deep knowledge of AI, ML, regulatory expectations, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology risk, AI governance or related control disciplines.
• 5+ years reviewing, governing, validating, auditing, or overseeing AI/ML or model-based solutions.
• Ability to challenge AI solutions at architecture, model, data and control levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise AI Governance Framework with policies, standards and risk taxonomy.
• Provide independent review and credible challenge of AI/ML use cases and AI-enabled solutions.
• Chair or lead governance forums and drive risk-based decisions with clear documentation.
