Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President, AI Governance to lead the day-to-day execution of the firm’s AI Governance Program, coordinating intake, risk assessments, policy management, committee governance and inventory oversight across Technology, Information Security, Data Governance, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, ERM, Internal Audit, and business units.

This role ensures AI initiatives are identified, documented, reviewed, approved, monitored, and governed throughout their lifecycle,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 5-8+ years in governance, risk management, or related fields.
• Recent enterprise AI governance experience.
• Experience with intake workflows, risk assessments, policy management, committee administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the enterprise AI Governance Program and support the program strategy, operating model, priorities, and capability roadmap.
• Own and administer the end-to-end AI use case intake, triage, review, approval, change, monitoring, and retirement workflow.
• Ensure AI use cases are documented, classified, assessed, approved, inventoried, and governed per policy and risk requirements.
• Coordinate AI risk assessments across subject matter experts and control functions with documented decisions and residual risks.
