Job summary

People Working Cooperatively, Inc. seeks a skilled coordinator to lead its Volunteer Involvement Program, helping low-income seniors and people with disabilities stay safe at home.

You will manage direct-service volunteers, schedule repair work, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure project success. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, safety, and quality of services provided to PWC clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in project management and direct repair services.
• Experience working with volunteers preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the activities of direct-service volunteers and coordinate repair and maintenance in clients' homes.
• Schedule volunteer services and follow up to ensure quality.
• Support agency-wide volunteer events as a member of committees (Prepare Affair, Repair Affair, ToolBelt Ball).
• Supervise projects and manage volunteers of various backgrounds, ages and skill levels.
• Identify and assess service projects for volunteers and develop scope of work and material/equipment lists.
• Provide thorough assessments and scopes of work for Repair Affair groups.
• Coordinate with other PWC managers/departments to address housing issues beyond volunteers.
• Execute emergency repair projects and coordinate project execution with PWC managers/departments.
• Conduct administrative review, quality control and final project closeout.
