Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services seeks a Program Coordinator to provide case management and coordinate in-home volunteer services for aging adults and others in need in Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties.

You will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, maintain program records, and collaborate with partners to ensure high-quality care and safety. This role emphasizes outreach and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years equivalent years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in social services/volunteer management.
• Experience managing volunteers and/or supervising employees.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Interest in working with elders and adults with disabilities and concern for their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of around 150 clients receiving in-home volunteer services.
• Maintain wait list and prioritize service requests based on needs/resources.
• Conduct in-home visits to assess for appropriateness with program policies.
• Record and enter case notes into database with patient health and referrals.
• Record and track status of services in database in timely manner.
• Provide resources and/or referrals to other services as needed.
• Monitor client satisfaction and referrals to other services.
• Develop emergency plans for service delivery in event of disaster or pandemic.
