Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate City-sponsored events and volunteer recognition activities.
• Collaborate with staff to identify volunteer needs and develop opportunities.
• Interview, screen, place, orient, and train volunteers.
• Maintain relationships with schools, nonprofits, civic groups, and local businesses.
• Manage and maintain the volunteer database and records.
• Stay updated on best practices through training and development.
• Purchase supplies and manage inventory and bids.
• Follow City policies and procedures.
