Job summary

The SPAN Center is seeking an on-site Admin/Program Support role in Richmond, VA to provide administrative, programmatic, and volunteer support for AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program. You will ensure compliance with AmeriCorps regulations and grant requirements, assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and stipend processing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong Microsoft Office skills, and at least five years of experience in customer service or office settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential volunteer and host station records.
• Enter stipend hours and payments to ensure bi-weekly payments.
• Process volunteer timesheets and track benefits.
• Prepare training materials and communications.
• Serve as first point of contact for volunteers and host stations.
• Assist with volunteer recognition events.
• Advance volunteerism with staff.
