Job summary

Felton Institute seeks a Program Coordinator in the Senior Division to oversee AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer activities in San Francisco. You will coordinate recruitment, training, and placement of volunteers across community-based sites, ensuring alignment with program goals and federal guidelines.

You will supervise volunteers, process timesheets, support outreach, and collaborate with staff to run recognition events and data reporting. Salary range is $34.00–$37.00 per hour, DOE, onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in a community-based program; experience with older adults is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.
• Proficiency in Cantonese or Spanish is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with outreach and marketing materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and background checks for volunteers.
• Support outreach activities and recruit volunteers for FGP/SCP programs.
• Utilize social media and electronic communication to raise program awareness.
• Provide training and supervise AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers.
• Assist with volunteer timesheets and stipend data processing.
• Collaborate with staff on events and program reporting.
