Job summary

Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, NE is seeking a Volunteer Program Supervisor who will lead the volunteer program, recruit and engage volunteers, and align efforts with patient care and hospital operations.

You'll collaborate with department leaders, HR, and community partners to build a robust volunteer program, recognize contributions, and ensure compliance and records management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Three to five years of experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit leadership, or healthcare administration required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, screening, placement, orientation, training and ongoing engagement of volunteers.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify volunteer opportunities supporting patient care and operations.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements with Human Resources and maintain volunteer records.
• Develop recognition programs and foster long-term engagement.
• Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and hospital leadership.
• Develop policies, participate in committees, and contribute to strategic planning.
