Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of three years volunteer management experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the volunteer program and conduct interviews and orientation for all volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, screening, supervision and recognition.
• Coordinate area-specific training for volunteers to perform assigned duties.
• Create and maintain volunteer assignment schedules and secure substitutes.
• Keep volunteer records up to date (hours, files, TB tests, recognitions, health info, safety and training).
• Evaluate the program to develop departmental goals and performance objectives.
• Identify value-added volunteer opportunities across the system to improve patient experience.
