Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students in a classroom setting. Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and implement in the classroom
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them regularly
• Cultivate an organized, encouraging and engaging classroom environment and use redemptive discipline
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters as noted on parent permission slips
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador within the community and with school personnel
