Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver in Indiana to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a clean driving record, adherence to safety rules, and completion of LifeWise training.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement and ideally a School bus endorsement, with a mature and caring approach to student supervision.

Qualifications

• CDL with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the director.
