Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Indiana is seeking a CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from LifeWise sites, ensuring safety and reliability. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual and has a clean driving record.

This role requires CDL with passenger endorsement, compliance with FMCSA rules, background checks, drug testing, and staying current with licenses. Candidates must be 21–80 and commit to LifeWise Academy’s faith-based program.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL with endorsement for passenger vehicle (P).
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel when needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting the vehicle; monitor behavior.
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and ongoing requirements.
