Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, with a clean driving record and a commitment to faith-aligned values.

Job duties include transporting children, enforcing safety rules, keeping the bus clean and mechanically safe, performing routine inspections, refueling, and supporting LifeWise activities as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL license with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• Driver must have held a license for the past three years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in five years.
• Must pass background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce rules.
• Assist students with entering and exiting the vehicle; demonstrate calm, caring demeanor.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training; participate in classroom activities if agreed.
