Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Voluntary Employee Benefits Consultant to drive premium growth, case counts, and broker recruiting in the Columbus, OH and Indianapolis, IN territory. You will work with national, regional, and local brokers, consultants, and enrollment firms to educate and motivate for profitable growth.

Responsibilities include consulting on enrollment solutions, delivering training, and collaborating with Sales Support, Underwriting, Policyholder Services, and other teams to hit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; life & health license required; license may be obtained on hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience selling voluntary benefits; broker relationships preferred.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 days weekly; reside in southwest Ohio or Indianapolis area.

Responsibilities

• Consult, train, educate, and motivate brokers to achieve growth and meet sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with broker partners and enrollment firms.
• Collaborate with internal departments to achieve production goals.
• Analyze market trends and support recruiting and marketing initiatives.
