Job summary

The Standard in Los Angeles invites you to join our Employee Benefits team as a Voluntary Employee Benefits Consultant. You will drive premium growth, increase case counts, and recruit producers across Orange County to Los Angeles, CA while collaborating with national, regional and local brokers, consultants, and enrollment firms.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (life/health licensing preferred or obtainable upon hire), at least 2 years selling voluntary benefits, an established broker

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; life & health licensing required or obtainable upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years experience selling voluntary benefits.
• Established broker network within the territory.
• Ability to travel 2–3 days per week within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain consulting relationships with broker partners, general agents, technology partners, and enrollment firms for voluntary group and life insurance products.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on enrollment technology solutions and product offerings.
• Deliver training and development to producers, agencies, and general agents; support growth in assigned regions.
• Collaborate with Sales Support, Underwriting, Policyholder Services, Billing, Compliance, and Compensation to meet production goals.
• Analyze market trends, support recruiting and marketing initiatives, and provide feedback to implement policy.
