AutoFair Volkswagen is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team and help grow your career with a company that values your input and rewards performance.

In this role, you will take ownership of the customer experience, provide concierge support, allocate technician time, answer technical questions, and maintain high customer satisfaction while collaborating with management to grow the service department.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the customer's experience by completing tasks that leave a positive impression for the dealership
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone
• Ensure technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary
• Oversee warranty claims administration and service department training/supervision
• Set schedules and assign tasks to service department staff
• Reinforce company policies and standards; ensure legal compliance
• Maintain good relationships with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations
• Collaborate with upper management on service department hiring and discipline decisions

• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.

• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary.
• Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department.
• Set schedules and assigns tasks to service department employees.
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
• Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
• Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions.
