Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an UCC Telecom Technician to support VOIP and analog endpoints across multiple sites. The role involves handling assignments from order entry to activation, with on-site work at Temple Health Women’s and Families Hospital three days a week.

Responsibilities include coordinating installations, providing customer tech support, documenting calls and resolutions, and escalating issues when needed. The position requires on-site presence and willingness to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• General Experience and knowledge of Networking DHCP, TCP/IP, and VLANS required.
• General Experience with LAN/WAN Environments required.
• Two years with Cisco Unified Communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deploy VOIP and analog endpoints.
• Communicate with customers on installations for service.
• Enter orders into ticketing system with accuracy; document call purpose and resolution.
• Provide technical support to customers; verify service needs and manage order changes.
• Assist with orders through all installation milestones to completion, ensuring activation of services.
• Initiate and manage escalations through operations leadership and Inventory management.
• Travel to various sites to support customers’ needs.
