Job summary

Allsup Employment Services is seeking a Vocational Case Manager to serve as the primary contact for unemployed beneficiaries in the Return to Work program. You will build positive relationships and tailor career-counseling solutions based on the skills, education and past work experience to help beneficiaries return to meaningful, financially secure employment.

You will manage an active caseload under the Ticket to Work program, provide job search assistance, review resumes, coach on interviews,

Qualifications

• Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate work experience.
• Two or more years in case management, job placement, vocational rehabilitation preferred.
• Disability-related experience a plus.
• Employment specialist/job coach experience a plus.
• Ability to learn, retain and apply information.
• Ability to handle high volume of inbound/outbound calls.
• Customer service and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active vocational caseload with individuals in the Ticket to Work Program.
• Provide job search assistance: leads, resume review/writing, career exploration, interview practice.
• Handle high-volume phone/email/text conversations and build rapport.
• Educate beneficiaries about the Social Security Ticket-to-Work program.
• Verify employment goals are appropriate and achievable.
• Support and coach beneficiaries in job applications and retention.
• Schedule interviews and follow-up calls to assess outcomes.
• Complete Social Security forms as required.
• Conduct conference calls with beneficiaries and Social Security.
• Assist with workplace accommodations or new employment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
