Unum is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant to review, analyze and interpret vocational and medical information and to support return-to-work strategies. This role works with claims professionals across settings to deliver exceptional service and positive claimant outcomes.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field and certification in rehabilitation counseling or case management, with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field.
• Certification required in rehabilitation counseling, disability management, or case management.
• 3+ years vocational experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review, analyze and interpret vocational and medical information.
• Collaborate with claims professionals and other resources to assess vocational information.
• Provide vocational opinion on duties and demands to facilitate return to work and stay at work services.
• Communicate complex vocational issues clearly in writing and verbally.
