Remote Vocational Case Manager (MA) – Return-to-Work Focus

Job summary

Paradigm is seeking a Vocational Case Manager to support clients across Massachusetts with remote work and travel as needed. You will coordinate return-to-work plans, conduct vocational assessments, and provide job development and placement services to help clients overcome barriers and re-enter the workforce.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (Rehabilitation Counseling or related field) and CRC/CCM/CDMS certification, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field with minimum 24 credit hours in related coursework.
• Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or advanced preferred or as required by state law.
• CRC, CCM, or CDMS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving history.
• Experience in providing Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
• Knowledge of Managed Care or Workers’ Compensation preferred.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and meet with client, family, insurance adjuster, medical providers, employer, attorney, vendors, and potential future employers.
• Assist and coordinate return to work planning including job descriptions or job analysis and identifying suitable employment opportunities.
• Coordinate with treatment providers to identify physical capabilities and return to work readiness.
• May monitor return to work progress for successful outcomes.
• Complete Vocational Assessments gathering medical, social, economic, education, and work history information.
• Develop knowledge of current job market to identify placements.
• Complete vocational testing and interpret results.
• Develop Rehabilitation/Case Management Plan for client success.
• Provide job-seeking skill training and coaching including resume development and interview training.
• Provide job development and placement services.
• Provide loss of earning opinions or expert testimony as needed.
• Identify and place client in transitional work opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling to the client.
• Maintain timely communication with all parties and document progress.
