Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will perform storing, distributing and order fulfillment tasks for merchandise, products, materials, and equipment.

You will drive company vehicles, ensure shipment accuracy, set up VMI spaces, coordinate with the sales team, and support inventory optimization while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Willingness to learn and work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
• Must be a self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Drive company commercial vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe manner and in compliance with all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations.
• Ensure the accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI customer space/placement and stock product in the customer's designated area.
• Follow the customer order through from pick-up at Vallen's warehouse/DC to delivery and setup at customer site.
• Scan barcodes at customer site to generate customer orders.
• Maintain awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity and report observations to management.
