Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites, performing storage, distribution, and order fulfillment tasks. You will drive to locations, ensure shipments are accurate, and set up inventory spaces at client sites.

Responsibilities include processing customer orders, supporting VMI at point-of-use areas, and communicating with supervisors and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe manner.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI customer space and set up receiving areas.
• Follow customer orders from pickup to delivery and setup at customer site.
• Record spot orders and relay to appropriate staff.
• Scan barcodes to generate customer orders.
• Perform VMI functions at point-of-use areas including communication with supervisor and sales team.
