Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator II to deliver and manage inventory at customers' sites. You will perform physical or administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, parts and supplies.

Responsibilities include driving to customer sites, ensuring shipment accuracy, and maintaining VMI controls and documentation. This role requires a strong team approach and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver's license that complies with Vallen's standards.
• Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.
• Must be a self-starter with willingness to work with supervision.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe manner following DOT standards.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to customers across all steps of delivery.
• Assist with VMI customer space setup and stock products in designated areas.
• Track customer orders from pickup to delivery and setup at site.
• Accept spot buy orders and relay details to CSR or Account Rep.
• Perform VMI tasks at Point of Use areas including loading, receiving and minor repairs.
