Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator II to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will handle storage, distribution and order fulfillment across merchandise, parts, & equipment.

Responsibilities include driving to locations safely under DOT standards, ensuring shipment accuracy, and assisting with VMI setup. A strong team player with reliable communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company standards.
• Willingness to learn and handle semi-routine assignments.
• Must be a self-starter able to work with supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Proven ability to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Proactive, positive teamwork to resolve problems.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
• Willingness to learn about company products.
• Represent Vallen professionally and uphold a winning team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations safely and per DOT standards.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and proper handling at customer sites.
• Assist with VMI space setup and stock product in customer areas.
• Track and follow customer orders from pickup to delivery and setup.
• Record customer spot buy orders and relay to CSR or Account Rep.
• Perform VMI tasks at point-of-use areas and coordinate with Sales.
