Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will handle physical or administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing and fulfilling orders of merchandise, materials, and equipment.

Key duties include safe vehicle transport, ensuring shipment accuracy, setting up VMI spaces, and maintaining inventory with proactive communication to the sales team. Join a team focused on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods in a safe manner and in compliance with DOT standards.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI space setup and stock products at the customer’s designated area.
• Follow the customer order from pickup to delivery and setup.
• Monitor min/max levels and communicate inventory observations to management.
