Job summary

Vallen is hiring a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will perform storage, distribution, and order fulfillment tasks for merchandise, materials, parts, and equipment.

You will drive company vehicles to sites, ensure shipment accuracy, and support VMI at the point of use, while maintaining inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver's license that complies with company standards.
• Self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods safely and compliantly.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI customer space/placement and stock products at customer site.
• Follow customer order from pick-up to delivery and setup.
• Take spot buy orders and relay to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes at customer site to generate orders.
• Perform VMI functions at point of use areas and communicate with supervisor and sales.
• Monitor min/max, reorder points and report observations to management.
• Recommend changes to customer inventory levels based on usage.
• Keep barcodes up to date and advise when new labels are needed.
