Job summary

Vallen Distribution seeks a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to manage inventory at customers' sites, performing storage, distribution and order fulfillment tasks. You will drive to designated locations, ensure accurate shipments, and support VMI space setup at customer sites.

The role requires at least 1 year in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery, along with a proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Must be a self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow DOT/compliance guidance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customer sites safely.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and correct routing per orders.
• Assist with VMI space/placement and stock product at customer sites.
• Track orders from pickup to delivery and confirm receipt with customers.
• Perform VMI functions at point-of-use areas and communicate with supervisor.
