Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to manage inventory at customers' sites. You will perform storage, distribution, and order fulfillment tasks for merchandise, parts, and equipment across designated locations.

In this role you will ensure accurate shipments, coordinate space and setup, and support the customer through the order lifecycle. This position emphasizes proactive problem solving and teamwork in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, reliable and detail-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI customer space/placement and set up receiving areas.
• Follow the customer order from Vallen warehouse to delivery and site setup.
• Take customer spot-buy orders and relay to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes to generate customer orders.
• Perform VMI functions at Point of Use areas including setup and minor repairs.
• Monitor min/max, reorder points and report observations to management.
• Suggest changes to inventory levels based on usage.
• Maintain legible barcode labels and coordinate with management for new labels.
• Assist in annual cycle counts for consigned inventory.
• Present information and respond to questions from clients and managers.
• Maintain 5S in VMI areas and perform other duties as requested.
