Job summary

HRA of New Britain Inc. is seeking a Financial Services Coordinator to support the VITA program, recruit and supervise volunteers, and ensure IRS compliance. The role focuses on expanding services through partnerships and accurate data reporting.

The coordinator will work with internal staff and external partners to deliver a continuum of financial services, monitor performance, and ensure accurate, timely reports to funders.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3+ years related experience in financial services
• Ability to supervise VITA volunteers and manage program
• Experience with data reporting and funder reporting requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (Spanish/Polish preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in operating the VITA program
• Supervise and manage VITA volunteers
• Ensure compliance with IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct and site requirements
• Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to expand services
• Document client outcomes in data systems and report to funders
