  • Partner with marketing and community organizations to raise awareness and participation.
  • Coordinate volunteer training and certification efforts.
  • Provide tax-season operational support and site coverage as needed.

We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual Financial OpportunityCenter (FOC) Coordinator to lead and expand our VolunteerIncome Tax Assistance (VITA) program across Greater Hartford, Enfield,Manchester, and Windham. What You'll Do

As the FOC Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of VITA programoperations and growth while serving as a key liaison to communitypartners, municipalities, colleges, funders, volunteers, and stakeholders.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and expansion of the annualVITA/EITC campaign.
  • Coordinate multiple tax preparation sites and ensure compliancewith IRS Quality Site Requirements.
  • Recruit, support, and collaborate with volunteers, sitecoordinators, and community partners.
  • Track program performance and analyze data to guide real-timedecision making.
  • Connect tax filers with broader financial coaching,asset-building, and supportive services through The Village'sFinancial Opportunity Center.
  • Partner with marketing and community organizations to increaseawareness and participation.
  • Coordinate volunteer training and certification efforts.
  • Provide direct operational support during tax season, includingsite coverage as needed.
  • Manage program referrals, reporting requirements, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Services, Business,Social Services, or a related field preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experiencetotaling at least four years will be considered.
Requirements
  • Experience with VITA/EITC programs strongly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends during peakprogram periods.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with orwithout reasonable accommodation.
