Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA is offering a summer internship in Test Engineering within an onsite role. You will support a multi-disciplinary engineering team and help with integration, verification and validation testing of EO/IR Sensor Systems.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a STEM degree, has at least 60 credit hours by start date, and has experience with LABVIEW or MATLAB for data analysis. Prior internship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and enrolled through the internship period.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
• Experience with programming in LABVIEW and/or MATLAB for test automation or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support a multi-disciplinary engineering team on planning, development, trade studies and performance analysis.
• Perform integration, verification and validation testing for EO/IR Sensor Systems.
• Assist with execution and procurement activities for engineering builds.
• Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams.
