Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Orlando seeks a General Manager to lead an eyecare office with a strong emphasis on patient experience, financial performance, and team development.

You will partner with doctors, vendors, and staff to deliver exceptional service while driving growth and operational excellence. The role requires at least an undergraduate degree or equivalent management experience, plus 2+ years in a leadership-facing role, managing teams, and delivering KPI-driven results.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of management experience in Retail/Hospitality preferred.
• 2+ years in a leadership facing role as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two+ employees to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and servant leadership aligned with MyEyeDr. values.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose driven team through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Own the financial success of the office through KPI-driven performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Deliver KPIs with flawless execution of patient experiences and coaching for others.
• Maximize optometric partnerships and doctor availability to support growth.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry partnerships and ongoing relationships.
• Maintain HR policies and a compliant, productive work environment.
• Drive performance and development with the District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient needs.
