Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a General Manager to lead an eye care office, partnering with doctors, vendors, and teams to deliver a personalized patient experience. You will own the office P&L, drive KPI performance and coach staff for excellence.

You will oversee recruitment, training, HR compliance, and develop a high-performing team while nurturing Doctor of Optometry partnerships and ensuring top-notch merchandise standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of management experience (Retail/Hospitality strongly preferred).
• 2+ years in a leadership facing role serving as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Effective communicator, detail oriented and a strong leader aligned with MyEyeDr. values.
• Upholds exceptional service standards and acts as a mentor to team members and patients.
• Servant leadership style with drive for results, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, full scope optical office roles, and services.
• Natural leader with ability to coach and inspire team members.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training.
• Direct responsibility for financial success of the office through drive of KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to deliver seamless patient experiences.
• Deliver KPIs with flawless execution of patient experiences and coach others in real time.
• Maximize optometric partnerships through doctor availability and coverage.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnerships and ongoing relationships.
• Maintain HR policies and compliance for a productive, safe work environment.
• Drive performance and development with District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient expectations.
