Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a General Manager to lead an eyecare office, foster a collaborative team, and partner with doctors, vendors, and staff to deliver a personalized patient experience. You will own patient experiences, financial performance, and daily operations.

This role requires evening and weekend shifts at times, an undergraduate degree or equivalent leadership experience, and a track record of coaching, KPI results and strong communication. Reports to the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of management experience (Retail/Hospitality preferred).
• 2+ years in a leadership-facing role as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong communicator with attention to detail and leadership values.
• Servant leadership style with drive for results and business acumen.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and full optical office roles.
• Ability to coach and inspire team members.
• Team player who collaborates to deliver the best patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose driven team through recruitment and onboarding.
• Directly responsible for financial success through KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff for seamless patient experiences.
• Deliver KPIs with flawless execution of patient experiences and in-the-moment coaching.
• Maximize partnerships and doctor availability.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnership.
• Maintain HR policies and a safe work environment.
• Lead performance and development with the District Manager.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient requirements.
