Job summary

The HealthCare Connection is seeking a Vision Patient Services Specialist for the Mt Healthy Vision Center. You will greet patients, register them, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments to ensure a smooth visit.

The role requires a friendly, customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and basic office software skills. Experience in medical offices and familiarity with EHR systems are valued. Resume must be attached.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting (front desk, registration, or scheduling roles preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems is expected.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect payments and co-pays for services.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork.
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances.
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
