Job summary

The HealthCare Connection is seeking a Vision Patient Services Specialist for our Mt. Healthy Vision Center. You will greet patients, register on arrival, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments, helping patients with forms in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

You will coordinate with the Finance team on balances, schedule appointments, and support administrative reporting while upholding health equity and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in clinical or medical office (front desk, registration, or scheduling preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resume must be attached to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect payments and co-pays for services
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed
