Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and eye exams, including managing patient records and supporting patient flow.
• Performs preliminary evaluations including detailed patient histories, medication review, visual acuity, motility, pupil and angle assessments, refraction, pachymetry, tonometry, and dilation.
• Performs special testing including OCTs, biometry, topography, and retinal imaging/photography.
• Performs pre-examination testing with accuracy and explains measurements to patients.
• Identifies dissatisified patients and acts to resolve issues.
• Maintains efficient, accurate work under time pressure and high patient volume.
• Files and maintains patient records per standards and HIPAA.
