Job summary

LensCrafters in the United States is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our patient-centered eye care team. You will support exams, manage records, and help ensure a smooth patient flow from check-in to post-exam care.

Responsibilities include assisting with eye exams, performing procedures like refraction, OCT, and biometry, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, and communicating clearly with patients and physicians. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of strong customer service experience.
• Strong communicator and listener.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage patient records and flow.
• Perform preliminary evaluations including histories, medications, visual acuities and refraction.
• Conduct special testing including OCT, biometry, topography and retinal imaging.
• Explain measurements and answer patient questions.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and scheduling.
