Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. in Lanham, MD is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead store operations in the absence of the GM. This role models the Visionworks way and drives favorable patient and customer experiences while supporting the General Manager in achieving financial goals.

You will supervise staff, coach associates, coordinate doctor appointments, and help meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets while delivering a simple, human, and bold journey for our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote profitability and achieve sales targets by holding self and team accountable to daily, weekly and monthly goals.
• Role model and engage in the patient/customer journey across exam lanes and sales floors.
• Support GM in managing appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs.
• Coach and motivate associates to perform at a high level for a flawless customer experience.
• Use sound judgment to remove obstacles in the patient experience in partnership with the GM.
• Execute broad operational activities to meet store goals.
