Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a dynamic Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead store operations in Fort Meade, MD. This role models Visionworks values, supervises in the General Manager's absence, and helps achieve financial targets through strong floor leadership and coaching.

You will guide staff through the patient and customer journey, manage appointments and services, and ensure an exceptional experience while driving profitability and daily operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the store's profitability and achieve sales goals by holding self and team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Role model and engage in all steps of Patient/Customer journey, oversee exam lane and sales floor
• Coordinate doctor appointments, eyewear services, and ensure patient/customer needs are met
• Coach and motivate associates to perform at a high level for a flawless patient/customer experience
• Execute operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals
• Provide coaching and development to store staff to support store success
